Now let’s just get one thing straight before we begin!

How did I get here you may ask? Well… I am a twenty something who finds herself at the center of the most peculiar situations more frequently than most. I am becoming well known for my stories and my story telling abilities and so with the encouragement from my very best friend…

I have decided to take my stories to the general public.

I am Mrs. Water Closet.

This is my story…

So, I have always wanted to be a writer. That is where this all begins and ultimately, is leading to. At current I have countless short stories both on paper and swimming in my head, and two brilliant novels that are stuck in early chapters. I got the idea recently to try to write a book about my experiences and/or ‘stories’ as they are known, while reading a book called “The Things They Carried.”  It is a collection of experiences told by a Vietnam Vet as he saw them, or as he hallucinated them in some cases. In a lot of ways the book is pieced together randomly, almost as he remembered the stories. And he mentions several times that the best stories are true stories… and true stories are the unbelievable ones.

Brilliant.

So this blog is inspired by that idea. True stories are always the best stories. And furthermore, I hope that this collection of true stories as told by me, will somehow morph their way into book form. Who can know? This is to be one huge, daily brain storm. And who knows, maybe I’ll learn something about myself along the way; like oh say, what kind of writer I’m meant to be. Today, I am an autobiographical philosopher.

I have a lot of unbelievable true stories. Some are first hand accounts, like the ‘ghost story’ you will come to know well (if you have not already) and others are once or twice removed, like the daily adventures of my husband, the probie fire fighter. All the same, I consider myself somewhat of an authority on amazing true and often times, hysterical, stories. So if you dare, buckle up and come along. I’d love it if you’d subscribe and let me entertain you (as they say in my business).

Two disclaimers before we begin:

1) I have never blogged. I have never even read a blog. This idea comes directly from my best friend, so understand that I am new at this.

2) I can’t spell. Period. I recognize that, I have accepted that, and I have moved on. I suggest you do as well. D’Monk, you most of all.

Thank you and enjoy my life!
